Murder in the CIty by Wilfried Kaute
“Four boxes of silent witnesses to nearly all of the crimes and suicides that have taken place in New York within the past eight years were taken from their resting places yesterday by Coroner Israel Feinberg and sent out to sea to be given the burial that comes only to seamen and to discarded fire arms.
”’Every one of these weapons got some man or some woman,’ said the Coroner as he superintended the task of getting the deadly tools forever out of the way.”
